Do you have a concern about the toxicity of any plant, drug or chemicals that your pet, large or small, may have ingested, inhaled or have come into contact with?  If so, please contact your regular veterinarian, a local Veterinary Emergency clinic or one of the resources listed below immediately!! 

The sooner a pet poisoning is diagnosed, the easier, less expensive, and safer it is to treat!

 

Animal Poison Control | ASPCA

Call 888.426.4435. The ASPCA is a great resource for any animal poison-related emergency and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A consultation fee may apply.  The website has some informative links about the safety and toxicity of certain plants as well as food and household items.

Pet Poison Helpline

Call 855.764.7661. Pet Poison Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They charge a consultation fee but you speak directly with a certified toxicologist.  All follow-up consultations are included.  The website has an easy-to-use search function to check a potential toxin by name or category.
